* Each County / Regional Titleholder is required to schedule a Photoshoot with the State Photographer. You will need to decide which package you wish to purchase. You will need to do this by gaining sponsorship from family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, etc. We work with EJ Photography in Purgitsville, WV. The reason we work with one photographer is due to state program deadlines, national requirements, and easy access of photos if needed for advertising. EJ Photography is not affliliated with the Miss WV Nationwide Network. EJ Photography is a business owned and operated locally.
You will need to make sure that you have your payment ready before scheduling your Photo Shoot. The photos taken will be used for the State Program Booklet as well as here on our website.

* Each County / Regional Titleholder is required to pay the Entry Fee to State Finals by May 30th, 2015. Sponsorship is a great way to pay for the Entry Fee to State Finals. Any Businesses that donate to your entry fee will be listed as your sponsor in the State Program Booklet. They will also be listed on our website and Facebook Fan Page.

REQUIREMENTS
State Finals ~ Areas of Competition
Each Contestant in Teen/ Miss Division will be required to do the following in State Competition:
* Private Interview: 30%- Contestants will be individually interviewed by a panel of 5 judges for ten minutes. Questions will be based on the contestant’s platform statement and resume. Judges will score on personality, poise, communication skills, charisma, confidence, and overall style and presentation.
* Platform Speech: 20% - Contestant will individually describe their platform in detail of goals, community involvement, and marketing of their platform and how they intend on incorparting their platform into their year of reign should they become Miss WV Nationwide 2016. Judges will score on articulation, charisma, confidence, passion, personality.
* Personal Style & Expression: 20%- This area of competition allows the contestant to showcase her personal style and sense of fashion. Think "runway” as each contestant models an outfit that best represents her personality, sense of style, fashion, and uniqueness. Judges will score on modeling, confidence, style, and stage presence.
* Evening Gown: 20%- This is definitely the most elegant and glamorous part of any pageant system! Each contestant will model a floor length evening gown of her choice. The gown should reflect the contestant’s personal style and the color and design should flatter and highlight her physical features. Judges will score on beauty, grace, charisma and stage presence.
*On Stage Question: 10%- Contestants will be asked one question by a selected judge and will be questioned about current events in West Virginia. Contestants will be scored on passion, personality, articulation, charisma, confidence, and the ability to engage an audience and think on her feet.
